Events after the summer holidays

Summer holidays are coming, finally. This year I’m really tired, maybe because I’ve spent my energies on learning English, working hard for my own Company, following external school and non-school projects. But I can say that one of the most heavy part has been the organization of the following two events:

SQL Saturday Parma 2016

Like the past two years, I’m trying to set up all the stuff for a new SQL Server sharing moment. The event will be held on Nov 26 2016  at University degli Studi di Parma, as usual. Also this year, Stefano Cagnoni will help me (and he’is helping me now) for the logistic part at the University.

The complete schedule will be ready in September.

DevOpsHeroes Parma 2016

Elfo and Engage IT Services (my own Company) are proud to present the first event about the DevOps topic in Parma. DevOps is a buzzword that is mostly used in a wrong way. Our mission is to clarify the concepts behind that word and to explain how that phylosophy can help us in our work days. We will have Damian Brady (Visual Studio MVP, Solution Architect at Octopus Deploy) and, maybe, a big surprise from Microsoft (to be announced 🙂 ). Both the presenters will be remotely “on air”, which will be a great experience!

A special thanks

To Elfo, which cooperated with Engage IT Services during the whole organization of the DevOpsHeroes and as a SQL Sat Sponsor. To Daniela, that followed all the graphical stuff of both events. To Gabriele and Livia, for their support on communication. To Mike for the in place support (aka Catering, photos, tech support).

Thanks to all the communities, which helped and cooperated with us. GetLatestVersion and DotDotNet.

Now it’s up to you

The events are waiting for your sessions, don’t be scared and try to send your proposal!

Stay tuned! 🙂
